In its continuing work to develop best practices and provide a forum for dialogue and exchange for the multi-stakeholder natural resources community, the Group held two key meetings: (1) "Multi-Stakeholder Natural Resource State-of-the-Practice Meeting" to review, examine and discuss natural resource liability, assessment, restoration, and related issues in the U.S. and globally; and (2) the "Intergenerational Cross-Training Workshop: Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration" to provide an opportunity for open discussions and work-thorough of specific tools and approaches concerning best practices pertinent to natural resource issues and include an emphasis on exchange between seasoned and newer professionals in both private and public sectors.
